Native American tribes and enterprises are increasingly utilizing drones to support a range of activities in their communities and businesses. These unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are being deployed for environmental monitoring, such as tracking wildlife, assessing the health of forests, and monitoring water sources. Drones are also being used in land management to survey and protect sacred sites, map tribal lands, and monitor illegal activities like poaching or trespassing. Additionally, they play a role in disaster response by providing real-time data during wildfires or floods. Drones and ArcGIS help Tribal communities preserve their lands, resources, and cultural heritage more effectively. ArcGIS also enables tribes to share this information within their community and with external entities.
