The Indian Health Service (IHS) has progressed into the building phase of the complex, multi-year effort to modernize its Health Information Technology (IT) infrastructure. IHS will fully replace the Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS) and the RPMS Electronic Health Record (EHR) with the modern and commercial  PATH EHR solution. HIT modernization will be a transformational effort for IHS and our tribal and urban Indian organization partners. This session will: 1) Provide an update on the progress of the HIT Modernization project to date, including the launch of the PATH HER brand; 2) Discuss the approach for enhancing data management and accessibility with PATH EHR; and 3) Share details on key benefits and features of using a shared EHR.
