It’s 2024, yet IT-related security events and confirmed data breaches are still dominating the headlines. The interesting thing is most of today’s security challenges have already been solved. The solutions are often crystal clear, yet they’re quickly downplayed, ignored, or simply forgotten. There’s seemingly not enough time in the day or money in the budget to make things happen. No matter how resilient your IT environment appears, there’s always more that can be done. This is especially true in terms of the security “basics”. In this informative keynote address, Kevin will borrow concepts from human psychology and share stories from his work to make the case that, once certain impediments are overcome, reasonable security can be achieved to stop this cycle of security incidents moving forward.
