Allyson Mitchell is the General Manager of Mohawk Networks, LLC, a broadband provider owned by the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe in Akwesasne, an Indigenous territory that straddles the US-Canadian border. The Tribe was awarded $10.5 million to complete a $15 million broadband project, and now operates a fiber and fixed wireless solution, connecting 1500 households and anchor institutions. Mitchell has experience leading the growth and development of a 24/7 telecommunications operation in the healthcare sector and brings expertise in tribal communications and critical infrastructure. She holds a B.A from SUNY Oswego and a M.S. from Boston University and is honored to lead the Mohawk Networks team.
