Damon Safranek is the Chief Executive Officer of the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians and Paskenta Enterprises.  With almost 25 years of tribal government and executive-level experience, Damon has excelled in leading Tribal Governments, managing myriad Indian Country enterprises and driving strategic planning, growth and economic development.  He holds master’s degrees in Corporate Finance and Strategic Marketing from the University of Arizona. Damon has spent his career serving tribal communities and governments spanning eleven states.  His extensive experience includes corporate and tribal government finance, operations, master planning, M&A, feasibility analysis and development across industries including Gaming & Hospitality, Real Estate, Retail Fuel and Tobacco, Food & Beverage, Tribal Healthcare, Technology, Venture Capital, and Tribal Water, Wastewater & Energy Utilities.

 As CEO of the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians and Paskenta Enterprises, Damon has chartered and established tribal government policy, finance, tax strategy, land use, legislative affairs, advanced economic diversification, education and community development initiatives. Paskenta’s government contracting firm TEPA, Rolling Hills Casino Resort, Paskenta Brewery and Distillery, Cohort Technology Venture Fund, Rolling Hills Health Clinics, along with the Tribe’s retail fuel, and clean energy tribal electric utility, Paskenta continues to find new ways to build a diversified and sustainable future for its community.
