David Lamar joined MediQuant in 2017 having an immediate impact on client growth and revenues. During his tenure, he has redefined projects and services for increased revenue, helped to integrate and reframe the services provided by new acquisitions for a comprehensive offering, and guided the opportunity for the firm to win the largest assignment in MediQuant history with the Department of Defense. Through engagement with countless hospitals, providers, health systems and even patients across the healthcare ecosystem, Dave has a acquired a unique perspective on the commonalities and customization of each data transition. Dave’s HIT career began in 1997 when he joined Eclipsys—since merged with Allscripts—selling both clinical and financial solutions and becoming southeast region President. Beginning in 2007, he worked at OptumInsight—now part of UnitedHealth Group—as area vice president and then national vice president of accountable care solutions for provider clients. Dave earned his bachelor’s degree in finance at Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business.
