Demetrias Rodgers is a certified information security specialist (CISSP), and a certified cloud security specialist (CCSP) has joined Planet technologies after from the Commonwealth of Virginia where he served most recently as Deputy Chief Operating Officer for the Virginia Information Technologies agency which is the centralized IT services agency for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Demetrias has over 20 plus years of IT experience having served in leadership roles in both the private sector with a Managed Services Provider and with the government. He joined the Commonwealth in 2016 and was immediately charged with creating a framework and policies for cloud use and adoption in Virginia He also drafted legislation on cloud services readiness & utilization which was later signed into law by Virginia’s then Governor Ralph Northam. He was responsible for day-to day operations and technical service Delivery, commercial contract management, Security Operations, Finance, Enterprise Services & cloud delivery.
