Jessica Burghart is a proud enrolled member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. She has a Ph.D. in Management focusing on Leadership and Management at Walden University. She also holds an MPhil from Walden, an MBA from Friends University, and a BS in Business Management from Haskell Indian Nations University. Jessica is passionate about Indigenous issues in business and has developed business strategies specifically for Native American businesses in her dissertation.  Jessica teaches International Business, Business Policy, Financial Management, and Production Operations Management courses at Haskell. She has held various business roles at companies like Honeywell and GM and has served on the Ethics Committee for the Prairie Band Potawatomi Tribe.  She was selected Advisory Board Member for Missouri State University and has been recognized for her work with awards like the SCMC/NNSA Small Business Advocate Award and being named a 2023 American Indian College Fund Fellow.
