Jon is an experienced CIO with over 25 years as a CIO for City of Jose, City of San Francisco, County of San Mateo, and the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska.
His teams have constructed hundreds of miles of underground and aerial fiber to connect critical facilities and communities in need.
His expertise includes GIS, Broadband Planning, Community Engagement, Grants, Cybersecurity, and IT Assessments and Operational Excellence.
He is the co-author of the NIST Wireless Super Cluster blueprint, a volunteer grant reviewer for NTIA, and a member of the Native American Broadband
Advisory Committee to the FCC.
