Katy Pickens is an IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) at Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, where she serves the Cultural Services and Special Services sectors. Certified as a Business Relationship Manager (CBRM), Katy brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles in public relations and development at the Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children. Her expertise lies in enhancing organizational reputations and cultivating strong relationships between organizations and internal and external stakeholders, skills that are pivotal to her current BRM role. Katy’s achievements include co-authoring “Our Legacy,” a collection of Choctaw Elder stories, and serving on implementation teams for several Chahta Achvffa Member Portal projects across Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. She holds accreditations from the John Maxwell Team, Business Relationship Manager Professional (BRMP), ITIL, and CBRM. Outside of her professional endeavors, Katy finds joy in fishing, outdoor activities, and contributing to her family’s small farm in Oklahoma alongside her husband and two children.
