Michael Miley spearheads the information security program at Cherokee Nation Health Services, where his role is integral to the protection and management of over 1.8 million patient visits annually across 11 healthcare facilities. His involvement extends to overseeing security measures across a diverse range of community and health programs, including behavioral health, public health nursing, cancer and diabetes prevention, Women Infants and Children services, emergency medical services, environmental health, and more. With a dynamic career that spans military active-duty service and risk management before his shift to information security, Michael contributes to approximately 50 projects each year in various capacities and some extending into multi-year projects. He holds a master’s degree from Northeastern State University and possesses certifications including GSLC, GSTRT, CDH-E, and CHISL.
