Rob Griffin
Job Title: Tribal Broadband Manager
Organization: Choctaw Nation
Mr. Griffin is a member of The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and serves as the Tribal Broadband Manager for The Choctaw Nation. He has spent over two decades designing, implementing, and managing technology-based solutions that connect locations throughout the United States and throughout the Globe. He has worked with Tribal, Federal and State Governments. This also includes commercial Enterprise accounts, the SMB segment as well as Channel Delivery divisions for Fortune 500 carriers. He has also supported Regional Fiber operating carriers in their market strategy which included FTTH solutions. His experience makes him uniquely qualified for managing the broadband strategy for The Choctaw Nation, which is headquartered in Durant, OK. The Choctaw Nation is the third-largest Indian nation in the United States, with over 200,000 tribal members and more than 12,000 employees. The first tribe over the Trail of Tears, historic boundaries are in the southeast corner of Oklahoma. The Choctaw Nation’s vision, “Living out the Chahta Spirit of faith, family and culture,” is evident as it continues to focus on providing opportunities for growth and prosperity. Mr. Griffin lives in Trophy Club, TX with his wife Robin who is a Regional HR manager for Fleetpride Inc. Together, they have six children with one still living at home. His interests are golf, basketball, darts, soccer and of course, technology. He coached soccer for over 14 years in Yukon, Ok and attended the University of Oklahoma and Southern Nazarene University. He is a USMC Reserve Veteran and served during Desert Storm.
