Sayuri Rajapakse

Sayuri Rajapakse serves as Tribal Liaison for the Broadband Data Task Force at the Federal Communications Commission, where she coordinates Tribal engagement and provides legal and policy support. Sayuri joins the Task Force from the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau, where she currently serves as Deputy Chief of the FCC’s Office of Native Affairs and Policy, charged with bringing the benefits of a modern communications infrastructure to all Native communities. Previously, Sayuri was an Attorney Advisor in the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau’s Auctions and Spectrum Access Division. Prior to joining the Commission in 2007, Sayuri practiced law in both the government and private sectors. Sayuri holds a B.A. from Columbia University and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
